Revival

<Revival> is an autonomous urban furniture using urban spaces to take social interaction to a whole new level. As an adaptive infrastructure, the urban furniture paves the way for mobility in the sense of communication, education and cultural exchange. The mobile elements enliven the city places and are accessible to everyone.

Nowadays life is shifting to virtual space, especially in terms of social interaction. People are physically stationary and virtually mobile. As a result, the quality of exchange suffers significantly. The consequences are social isolation and declining soft skills. <Revival> is our answer to this problem. The concept is inspired by the behavior of human beings in public spaces. We have observed how people intuitively position themselves in public space and tested the research knowledge by modelmaking.
